Ants in Syrup

So I've noticed that here at Wheaton I've started using words like sirup and awnt instead seerup and ant. I find that it makes me sound more pretentious. Like I'm from someplace really exotic. 

So glad the $100,000 education has been worth it.

Ah, spring

This is what I heard as I was walking back to my apartment just now:

"Okay, well, you call your parents and find out what courting is, and I'll call my parents and find out what courting is, then I'll call your dad. . ."

Girl 1: "AAAAA. I can't do this! I'm going to faaaaaaiiilll" (Here she proceeds to bury her head in arms of girl 2 who consoles her with a reassuring voice)

Option 2: Dismissal
Guy 1: "Oh my gosh, I have so much work to do. I'm going to go back to my room and watch more episodes of Battlestar Galactica!"
